* Onsen (温泉?) — a term for hot springs in the Japanese language, though the term is often used to describe the bathing facilities and inns around the hot springs. As a volcanically active country, Japan has thousands of onsen scattered along its length and breadth. Wikipedia
** Chimera — describe any mythical or fictional animal with parts taken from various animals including humans, or to describe anything composed of very disparate parts, or perceived as wildly imaginative or implausible.
† kemomimi (獣耳 hiragana けもみみ) — Sometimes written as kemonomimi (獣耳 hiragana けものみみ). Humans that possess animal like features, predominately human and any real animal characteristics are minimal, unlike kemono characters who possess a large percentage of animal parts in ratio with their human parts. Generally kemonomimi characters have ears and a tail which is animal-like. At times this is just part of their attire and can be removed at will.
†† Lamiacon — a term I'm coining meaning a lamia complex, sexual in animanga terms.
