Definitions
ahoge (アホ毛) — A single strand of hair that sticks out of a character's head. It literally means "stupid hair" and usually indicates that the character is stupid. However, there are exceptions to this, so it is not an absolute rule. It differs from antenna hair, in which there are two or more locks of hair sticking up as opposed to one. Wikipedia
chikan (痴漢, チカン, or ちかん) — In Japan, men who grope women, term has also extended to describe the act itself. Crowded trains are a favorite location for groping. The issue of groping in Japan does not just affect females but males as well, and females may take on the groping instead of being the gropee.
clean — Means an image that I have made some alterations like removing background clutter, people or items.
crossdress — wear clothing typical of the opposite sex. (see also gender bender)
josou (女装) — man wearing female clothing. dansou (男装) — woman disguised as a man.

ecchi (エッチ) — The word 'ecchi' has been adopted by fans of Japanese media to describe works with sexual overtones. In Japanese, the word ecchi is often used to describe a person's conduct, but in fandom, it has come to be used to refer to softcore or playful sexuality in contradistinction to the word 'hentai' which connotes perversion or fetishism. Works described as ecchi do not show sexual intercourse or genitalia. Instead, sexual themes are hinted at, and much is left up to the imagination of the viewer. Wikipedia
fondle — The act stroking or caressing lovingly or erotically.
gender bender — A person which takes their gender roles are reversed, or manipulated in various ways. Also, someone who explores the boundaries of gender roles, or outright denies their existence. Futanari, or futa for short, fall into this category.
gym suit — Clothes prescribed for wear while participating in gymnastic exercise. This may be, from mid-60s to mid-90s, buruma (bloomers) or spats, mid-90s on, for lower torso while t-shirt worn for upper torso in both time frames.
mangaka (漫画家) — though the Japanese word for a comic artist or cartoonist, I have redefined the word to show one who is both artist and writer of a manga for this blog.
seifuku (制服) — Japanese, generic term for schoolgirl uniform.
spats — The replacement shorts for the buruma, or bloomers, are compression shorts known as spats.
trap — In the animanga world there is no bad connotation, rather a young boy who, due to insecurity, force feminized, or other reason, dresses up and pretends to be a girl, succeeding so well others do not see them as male. Usually are feminine in their appearance and over shy.
